I've never been a father
Children I have not had
But today I met with Ava
And I'm her new grand dad.

Her name is quite familiar
I see it every day
It's written on my T-shirts
in a playful sort of way

Preceded by a vehicle
and followed by an 'n'
Ava is the central part
of prog rock's Caravan. 

I think I'll care for Ava
in every way I can
My love for her won't waver
I am that sort of man
