WordCamp London 5-7 April – Sessions I might be allowed to attend

WordCamp London 5-7 April – Sessions I might be allowed to attend

I’m attending WordCamp London in April. Once again, I’m volunteering. So I won’t be able to attend all the sessions. These are the ones that I would choose if I were not otherwise occupied with volunteering duties.

Friday 5th April – Contributor Day

There will probably be a dozen tracks for WordCamp London Contributor Day . Over the years, I’ve tried my hand at: Core, Meta and Documentation. Perhaps this year I’ll consider Support and/or pretend I’m a Polyglot and help translate stuff into UK English. … or I might just pretend I’m contributing and work on items in my Bucket List.

Here’s a reminder of my take on Contributor Day; a Lightning Talk I prepared for WordCamp Birmingham 2015.

WordPress: Contributor Day – Ode A

Saturday 6th April – Day 1

My volunteering duties will require me to rise before the lark and be on site by about 7:00 am.

So I’ll probably get to attend my first must see session – Zac Gordon on WordPress React stuff – at 10:50.

The other mandatory session of the day is to hear what Mark Wilkinson has to say about content syndication at 15:00. I wonder how it compares with my oik-clone solution. Note to self: Update the oik-clone requirements summary from March 2015.

TimeTrackSession
9:40 B5 Steps to a faster website with higher Google rankings with Sabrina Zeidan
10:50 AHow the NEW ( Redux Based) Data API changes everything in WordPress with Zac Gordon
11:50
14:00 CWordPress andGraphQL with Michael Burridge
15:00 BSyndicating Content with WordPress with Mark Wilkinson
16:10
17:10

Sunday 7th April – Day 2

TimeTrackSession
10:30 BAre you ready to publish? – the afterlife with Ronald Gijsel
11:20 BHTTP/2 Push for the stars with Tom Nowell
13:30 AAn introduction to WP-CLI with Pascal Birchler
14:40 BI tried writing some code… you won’t believe what happened next! with Ross Wintle
15:30 CLightning Session with Tom Chute,Sami Keijonen and Anne Allen

Well, I’ve had a stab at what I’d like to do. How about you?

Choose the sessions you want to attend today!
